Beginner Level
In this Beginner Acoustic Guitar Course, I will cover basic fundamentals of the guitar. Beginning with the basics, students will learn all about open string notes and the notes on the fretboard. After having an understanding of these basic concepts, they will learn how to play songs on the guitar using single notes, basic 3 string chords, rhythm guitar, how to strum, major scales, and a new song using all the techniques and chords learned. I will demonstrate each concept first and then allow students to practice as a group. After practicing, each student will get a chance to play a song for the class. To keep the class engaged and to ensure every student is tracking along, I will ask questions throughout the lesson and encourage my students to ask questions after demonstrating each concept.
