In this class we will explore skills that can be used to handle day-to-day stress. The coping skills classes are stand alone and even though they cover different sections of the alphabet, each letter has valuable skills. Each week will cover five letters of the alphabet with the exception of week five which covers six letters. Students will learn techniques that can be used to handle day-to-day stress or anxiety.
I am very passionate about lowering the stress level in the body to manage a challenging day. I have collected many valuable skills while throughout the years working in the mental health field. I have worked with many children and adults who have found coping skills helpful to lower day-to-day stress.

There will be a one page handout for most classes. This will be provided to download and print. If a printer is not available a notebook and pencil will be helpful. The learner can bring colored pencils, markers, or crayons to class. If supplies are needed the learner will be informed in advance.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
