In this class we will explore skills that can be used to handle day-to-day stress. The coping skills classes are stand alone and even though they cover different sections of the alphabet, each letter has valuable skills. Each week will cover five letters of the alphabet with the exception of week five which covers six letters. The goal of this class is to explore coping skills that can be used to improve the learners day. I recognize that each learner is an individual which gives the learner the opportunity to select the skill that works best for them during class. Each learner will be supplied printable cards that they will be able to fill in and collect . The learner will be able to fill in the blanks with skills each learner will find helpful to improve their day. We will use presentation slides as a teaching tool, demonstrations, along with discussion throughout the class. The focus of the class will be to supply skills to help relax and improve our day. The class will be structured by introducing ourselves, going over the online presentation with discussion throughout the class. We will then have an in class activity with each class. My teaching style is hands on and discussion is welcome. Let's learn together! Class weeks are as follows: Learners can join in anytime.
