45 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
Singing is an amazing way to learn a new language. In this 45 min class, students will learn the French version of the 1st part of the song "Do you want to build a snowman" from Frozen movie. We will take each sentence of the song, sing it and then translate it in English so that students understand every word of the song. The class will start with a vocal warm-up where students will perform vocal exercises in French. At the end of the class, students will be able to sing Frozen song "Je voudrais un bonhomme de neige" in French (the 1st part of the song). The objective of this class is to learn new words and grammatical structures in French, while having a lot of fun singing. Students who will want to sing in front of the others will be able to do so! Students need to have an Intermediate level of French.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi everyone! My name is Estelle, and I am the founder of mood:lala, the new feel-good singing experience.
I was born in France but moved to the US 5 years ago (San Francisco then Santa Monica).
I've always been passionate about singing and the powers of our voice: I took 7+ years of singing classes, created a cappella groups and performed in one of the most famous theaters in Paris, les Folies Bergere.
mood:lala has been originally created for adults but I started giving classes for kids (8+ years old) a couple of months ago and the feedback I got was amazing!
Singing has been proven to have a lot of benefits on our well-being, health, self-confidence and public-speaking skills.
The methodology I use during my classes is based on learning how our voice works through a lot of different exercises (enunciation, rhythm, volume, melody etc.) and a lot of singing time so that kids can really learn and have fun at the same time.
If time allows it, I like to ask kids to demo some exercises to give feedback and to create interactivity between participants
