In this class students will learn: -reading and spelling words with Long-Vowel Phonics -speaking with basic present simple and present continuous tense -writing by copying paragraphs -reading short stories with paragraphs fluently
I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and 16 years of experience teaching a variety of ages and subjects. I have three years of experience teaching ESL students online.
There will be worksheets to be done for at home practice. This will take 1-2 hours outside of class time.
Materials needed for class: -printouts (available in the classroom for download the Sunday evening before class starts) -writing paper -drawing paper -pencil -colored pencils/crayons
No formal assessment.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
For part of my class I will use Google Drive Slides through the screen share on zoom. No account is required.
I use resources from Kid Inspired Classroom.
