Class experience
Make digitally animated flipbooks using the desktop version of Sketchbook Pro in this fun small group art class. Students will learn about the functions and tools of digital Flipbook animations while gaining a better understanding of how their favorite animated cartoons, series, and movies are made. This class is taught in English.
Students will learn how to make their own digitally animated flipbooks (cartoon style) of their drawings. Students will be able to identify and use keyframes, ghosting, and playback functions. Students will learn and use squash and stretch to improve the quality of motion in their flipbook animations. Students will use background, midground, and foreground to animate a multi-layered & more complex flipbook.
All drawing and creating flipbooks is completed using a desktop or laptop with the Sketchbook Pro application installed. Tablets & Ipads do not run the Flipbook tool included in Sketchbook Pro.
