During this class students will learn how to do different hairstyles for their favorite doll and on themselves. Students will learn social skills by meeting and talking with new friends. Now you can learn to do braids, top buns, low up do's, pig tails, space buns and so much more. First we will practice the hairstyle on our doll, then they can sit back and watch while we do our hair! We will learn about proper hair hygiene, different tools to use to do hair, and answer any hair questions! Everyone will be so impressed by your beautiful hairstyle. So grab your favorite doll, and all your supplies and lets go! *American girl doll or similar would be best for hairstyles
Learning Goals
Students will learn social skills and be able to introduce themselves and their dolls to new friends. Students will follow direction, use dexterity and learn a fun new skill.

I have always loved learning, and teaching. I have worked for over 10 years teaching young children, elementary age, and high school age. It has been my passion for as long as I can remember. What I have come to learn is everyone learns differently but a huge part of learning is doing! When we learn hands on, the information sticks. That’s why all my classes involve DOING!
In my preschool classes we are showing our learning through actions, dances, songs and repeating.
I also have a passion for teaching life skills classes because I know how important it is for kids to learn simple yet immeasurable skills. You’ll find hairstyling classes for young girls, cooking and baking classes and social clubs.

I enjoy teaching all different age children, from the little ones just learning their ABC's to older children who have such an excitement for learning.
I have a Bachelors dual major degree in Elementary Education and Special Education, as well as a Masters degree in Education. I have worked for over 10 years in the school system, first as a paraprofessional and then a classroom teacher.
