Class Experience

Class will be taught in English and Spanish.  

Students will practice the basics of programming, problem solving and critical thinking skills with Scratch Jr.  Students will learn the commands and practice using them with the teacher.  

Students will learn the following skills in class: 
- use and code one or more characters
- change the look of a character
- use one or more backgrounds
- create your own character and/or background
- add voice to characters
- use repeat command 
- use...

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Scratch Jr.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
