This is a flexible schedule class, which means there are NO LIVE CLASSES. Each week, I will post a link to access a private Nearpod student-paced lesson, Each Nearpod lessons include a video showing step-by-step drawing instructions, a short video showing that week's animal in its natural habitat, along with a memory game and a Challenge Question in which I will make three statements referencing the week's featured animal. Two of the statements will be true and one statement will be a LIE!...
Students will improve their listening and following directions skills as they draw and learn about different zoo animals.
I have been teaching young children for more than 30 years and I love to help students to learn step-by-step how to complete projects. Drawing has been a hobby of mine for many years!
Drawing, posting picture, and commenting on other learners drawings, watching the animal video
drawing paper pencil to draw crayons, markers, watercolors, or colored pencils
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Learners may need parental help in uploading pictures or videos and also posting a positive comment each week on one other person's drawings.
