Description

Class Experience

Students will learn and practice ASL expressive and expressive skills so they can begin to communicate using the language of the Deaf and hard-of-hearing. They will learn the ASL manual alphabet and practice it by spelling and signing names. They'll learn how to introduce themselves, sign numbers 1-10 and introduce their family members.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
The website Signing Savvy is used to provide a list of the vocabulary we've covered, so that students can practice after class.
