In this ongoing class students will meet weekly to read their favorite Pigeon stories and learn words and phrases from the story in American Sign Language.
Class experience
This class will be an ongoing class that meets weekly for students to learn American Sign Language words and phrases while reading along to their favorite Pigeon Stories. We will read a different story each week and learners will be given a worksheet that lists the phrases and words from the story and how to sign them. I have been studying American Sign Language ( ASL) for 14 years. I have completed a 4 year post bachelors or degree Interpreter training program and have received my certificate for Interpreter training . I have 3 years experience interpreting in an educational setting . I ran an ASL signing program at an early learning center for 1 year.
