Learners should check out library books on magic and work on the type of magic that they like best. It takes a while to work on a presentation and develop smooth handling for a fine performance, so keep working at it.Class Experience
US Grade 4 - 6
The plan is to have a fun and an amazing class. I have the magic know how to lead the learner in the right direction. We will go over many styles of card magic that will get the learner knowledgeable on methods other than just 'pick a card.' Any experience is welcome. Just bring a deck or two of cards. After class, I will send instructions for the tricks we learn in class and many more, so that you can continue learning more tricks on your own. Learners can ask questions, share ideas or simple follow along. I want everyone to have many takeaways from this class. No experience is necessary.
Learning Goals
Students will learn about the workings of card magic and will understand that practice will be key in perfecting these skills.

Who's the man behind the tricks?
As part of my artistic background, I've enjoyed performing magic since I was about 10 years old. My father would take me to the magic shop on the weekend where I would buy tricks. I've built an extensive magic collection over the years that I enjoy sharing in class. I now create and build my own tricks, as well. I'm a member of the I.B.M., The International Brotherhood of Magicians, and recently took first place in a close-up contest at my local club.
