Hello! This is a great introduction to Greek mythology for elementary students. I hope to inspire a love of history and Greek mythology in your learner in a fun, engaging class. This one time course will teach your budding history aficionado about the twelve Olympian Gods and Goddesses, their origin myths, and a few of the famous Greek heroes like Hercules, Perseus, and Achilles. Students will learn via a PowerPoint presentation, discussion comparing and contrasting different versions of particular myths, and complete a family tree with all of the Olympian Gods and Goddesses. Learners with some prior knowledge of Greek mythology will probably enjoy the class more, but all learners are welcome.

Hi there! I am certified to teach Pre-K through 6th Grade in the beautiful sunshine state. I teach pre-k in my school district to my amazing students. I am so excited to teach students here on OutSchool as well!

- I had a hard time reading when I first learned how to read but after a teacher took the time to work with me one on one, I was soon reading beyond my grade level. If it weren't for that teacher making that positive impact in my life, I wouldn't be who I am today. That is why I love teaching. The ability to make a positive, lasting impact in a child's life is such a wonderful thing.
- I didn't read any of the Harry Potter books until the last movie came out and I read all seven books in less than 5 days.
