Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! Welcome to my classroom. Thank you for viewing my profile.
I am a retired elementary teacher. I taught for 35 years. I have a Master’s in Elementary Education. I have taught Kindergarten, First, and Second grade children in all subjects. I love teaching children to read and make sense of math. I believe there is a need for cursive writing; and I enjoy watching children get excited about learning cursive.
Children learn in many ways, but mostly they learn if they have fun and what they learn is relevant to them. I provide the children with fun, engaging, relevant, and safe learning.
I enjoy being a lifelong learner. After I retired, I taught Preschool Storytime and Preschool Tumbling for my local community center. Then I became a guide in a drive through cavern. That was quite an experience! After that I learned a lot about working in retail. Now I am finally back to what I love most besides my two cute grandsons, Teaching!
I love guiding children to become lifelong learners.
I am looking forward to teaching your child!
