We will learn about China in this one-time class. We will start the class by learning different facts about China including its location, capital, flag, language, and other basic information. We will continue our quest of learning about China by reading about the country from a child's point of view. We will learn what a normal day for a child is in China, from what they eat for breakfast to what they do after school. Following this we will look at a short presentation and look at different pictures from China. Students will have a few different crafts they can do to help solidify what they've learned in this class. Please note - there are not any live lessons for this class. We will start the class by learning different facts about China including its location, capital, flag, language, and other basic information. You will continue our quest of learning about China by reading about the country from a child's point of view. You will learn what a normal day for a child is in that country, from what they eat for breakfast to what they do after school. Following this you can work on some fun projects about China!

Parental Guidance
Learning about countries in general can be a sensitive topic due to differences in religion and different cultures. We will be looking at countries from a secular point of view, making sure to look at the countries from multiple different perspectives around the world.
Supply List
For the class students will need to print the pdf that is sent with the class. They should also have crayons/markers/color pictures, glue/paste, and scissors for the lesson.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Students will receive a PDF packet each class with all of the information for class. There are readings and activities for China, as well as crafts.
