This class is a spin-off of the famous Afro Dance (8-13) & Afro Dance Advanced (7-13) class. If you've taken this class you are in good hands. Each week you will learn a new choreography by a popular Afro Dance Tik Toker or Instagram Dancer. The videos will be posted at the top of the week & you can learn it before class OR learn it during class and practice with the video from the classroom on your own time. We cover popular Afro Steps such as: Legwork from Poco Lee of Nigeria, Various Ghanaian steps such as: Azonto & more. We also cover some popular Afro styles such as Amapiano from South Africa & various steps of Afro House from Angola & South Africa. 10 minutes we warm up, next 20 minutes we learn the choreography & for the remainder of the class we clean, polish & selected learners will be spotlighted to show the class the choreography. This is a fun class to become well rounded with various styles of African Street Dances that are popularized on the internet.
Learning Goals
The learning goal is for each week you learn a new challenge or popular sequence from Tik Tok or Instagram. If you have Instagram or Tik Tok you can post your own video crediting the choreographer.

Parental Guidance
Parents please be advised of any potential hazards. Here are some preventable material that is advised for your child's safety: open workout space, slip-proof socks or bare feet, a water bottle, and proper clothing.
Supply List
Please wear sneakers, comfortable- movable clothing, or barefoot.
