I have been a musician for over 25 years, with the main instruments I play being acoustic guitar, classical guitar, and bass guitar. I grow out the nails on my thumb and first three fingers on my right hand so that I can play traditional classical guitar and fingerpicking on acoustic guitar. My experience: -played bass guitar on my sister's album when she was with a record label -played all three instruments in many different bands and performances -taught many students, including my own children -repair and maintain all of my own instruments -perform at nursing homes and assisted living facilities with my family
I recommend practicing at least 15 minutes a day.
Learners will need: -an acoustic guitar -a tuner (such as a downloadable tuning app, a built-in tuner, a clip-on tuner, etc.)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
