Teacher expertise and credentials
I have taught a variety of courses on Outschool since 2020. I also homeschool my teenager. I chose to create a lesson on this particular subject because I have lived thru 3 tornadoes the past 20 years. 1 damaged my place of employment in the late 90's and 2 that crossed over my home damaging nearby homes. I also helped to clean up the property of a friend after a tornado demolished his 100 year old home and farm. I personally own a tornado shelter as do a few of my family members so I was able to re-visit the tornado plant having become friends with the owners in recent years to create the video content for this class.
