Class experience
In this 2 week equine class we will explore the history, characteristics and uses of the adorable Miniature Horse! We will have a fun time discussing this amazing horse breed while looking at slides and short video clips. Learners are encouraged to share stories of minis they know and to ask any questions they may have. As an owner of minis myself, I have lots to share too! I am a certified veterinary technician, Outschool teacher, college professor and long time horse owner. I have been breeding, raising and showing Arabians and Miniatures for many years. I have a MEd from Colorado State University and I am now finishing up my second Master’s program and will have a Master of Veterinary Education (MVEd) from Lincoln Memorial University’s School of Veterinary Medicine by spring 2024. I absolutely love sharing my love of animals with Outschool learners! I look forward to meeting your horse lover in one of my classes!
