In this One-Time class we will discuss how to read and use military maps for a better understanding of Military History. We will learn about map symbols, units, and what the "arrows" mean on the maps.

In this One-Time class students will learn how to read a military map (battle reconstructions): scale, distance, unit symbols, maneuvers, tactics and strategy.

Students will learn about the nature of reconstructing battles.
Students will learn about unit symbols (e.g., infantry) used on battle maps. 
Students will learn about how arrows indicate certain types of maneuvers used during the battle.
Students will learn about what is not represented upon the maps
