US Grade 3 - 6
In this one-time class, students will experience abstract art in a new way. Students will learn about the human hand as they create abstract art with a hand. Students will be amazed as they learn interesting facts as they draw and create their own masterpieces. The lesson will include a slide show presentation with guidance on how to create their abstract hand. As we go through the lesson, students will be encouraged to personalize their art by answering questions and drawing different shapes, colors, etc. At the end of the class, we will play a short review game reviewing facts that students have learned about human hands. Your child will not only have a beautiful piece of personalized art, but they will also be able to tell others the amazing information they learned about what they have drawn. It will be an intriguing class as the science of the human body meets abstract art. I look forward to experiencing this artistic learning adventure with your child.
