The class structure is an open discussion which means that students will be able to talk about the solutions with the instructor as well as other students. Students will also take turns working on problems on the whiteboard. To be successful in this class, students should know how to solve linear equations with two variables (Ax + By = C). Lesson 1 - In this session, students will learn the parts of a two-dimensional Cartesian plane and how to plot coordinate points. They will learn...
Students will learn how to solve for the slope and y-intercept of a line. They will also learn how to write linear equations and apply the knowledge in applications or word problems.
A one-page handout will be provided the day before the session. The following whiteboard app will be used during the class so that learns can get direct feedback on their progress. https://www.whiteboard.chat/
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
