Class Experience

Learners will, 
- begin to understand fractions and decimals. 
- convert Fractions to Decimals.
- convert Decimals to Fractions.
- simplify fractions.
- add & subtract fractions & decimals.
- multiply & divide fractions & decimals. 
This course is taught by a certified 5th grade teacher, about to begin her 5th year of teaching. 
Optional practice problems will be posted for students to practice. 
 1 file available upon enrollment
Please have scratch paper and a sharpened pencil ready for each class. We will use a multiplication chart on the first day of class, so please print this resource out or be ready to use it digitally.
3 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
During some class sessions, Blooket will be used as a review and practice tool for learning. Please assist your child in accessing this source when directed by the instructor. This online review game is accessible without having to make an account. 

*Students under the age of 13 should not have their own account.
