Emotions are a part of life and being able to recognize and manage them is important! In this one-time class, learners will name emotions based on different faces they see. We will have a lot of discussion in this class by sharing what makes us feel happy, sad, angry, etc. Part of our discussion will be talking through different social-emotional scenarios, how they may make us feel and what we could do about them. Students will be able to recognize and identify emotions. Students will use critical thinking skills and communication skills as we talk about scenarios that may bring about different emotions and how they may effect us. Students will also use creative/drawing skills as they make their own emotion faces.
