This fun-filled course uses a game to take an adventurous look inside the world of mimicry. The students will learn what the term "mimicry" means. The students will then be introduced to examples of mimicry and will learn how mimicry benefits living organisms. This section will be taught using pictures, video clips, slides, discussions, lecture, and/or open-ended questions. Student response will determine the need for intervention. The students will then be shown multiple examples of mimicry in our ecosystem. They will play the Mimicry Game. The students will select the imposter (the organism that is mimicking the original organism). A multiple choice game will be used. At the end of class, winning students will receive colorful Mimicry Cards to use to remember the content.
