I worked as a leader and teacher in the nonprofit sector for more than 20 years. This includes volunteering in social enterprises from homeless shelters, the Big Brother program, Boy’s Clubs, tutoring in the barrios of Northwest Pasadena and Costa Mesa, and home construction in the dumps of Mexico. In all of these settings, I was integrally involved in leadership training and development.

About Me

I've been teaching here on Outschool for a year (May 2020) now. It has been my pleasure to teach more than 1100 students here this last year. I find that a dialog with parents is very helpful for encouraging success for students.
