I have spent a majority of my teaching career teaching students about diversity and acceptance. I have also worked in many high needs schools and diverse communities. My family is multicultural and I think cultural studies is a necessity for children’s education. I have taught many classes about different points of view and different cultures. I believe children need to learn about several different perspectives in order to truly be an outstanding student and citizen.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
