Bonjour! In this ongoing French class part 2 for young learners, we will continue to cover a variety of topics each week. This interactive class will be taught using visuals/props, repetition and voice variation, google slides, as well as songs and games to help engage learners and help them retain what they've learned! Students will have the opportunity to speak throughout the session, so a microphone is recommended. There may be times when students are muted (during a song, or if there is a lot of background noise etc.) so it would be helpful for learners to know how to mute and unmute themselves. This ongoing club is for beginning learners who have had a little exposure to French already but wish to continue expanding their vocabulary and growing their French language skills. I hope to see you soon! Week of Sept.19- Let's chat! (Comment ça va? Où habites-tu? Counting 1-15, Quel âge as-tu?) Learning Goals
Students will learn some basic French vocabulary, and will practice their new words with visuals, repetition, movement and games. I will also have my guitar to sing songs in French with the class. Learners will see how the words are written, how they are pronounced, and they will be able to hear them in context and practice using them.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! Bonjour! My name is Michele Kujawa and I love teaching languages. I grew up in a bilingual household (German + English) and starting learning French at school as a child. I have traveled a lot in my life and completed several summer French immersion programs to improve my French. I am grateful for the experiences and opportunities being multi-lingual has brought me and I'm excited to help get young learners started in their language learning journey. I live in Ontario, Canada and have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in French and German from Western University. I have taught French for over 17 years at the high school level and currently also teach English as a Second Language online to young learners. I am also the mom of 3 energetic boys!
In addition to teaching and learning languages, I also am passionate about music and have been singing most of my life! I love incorporating music into my lessons. I also love skiing in the winter, especially with family and staying active outdoors. I love being in nature, swimming, Crossfit, traveling and gardening.
I believe language learning should be fun and I strive to keep students engaged during class through games, songs, visuals, props and by making the learning relevant to students. I look forward to having your child in my class!
