includedClass Experience
Beginner - Advanced Level
In this Winter Intensive Program students will: 1. Debrief the Jan/Feb Lincoln Douglas topic. 2. Learn to construct an Affirmative and Negative case with evidence and rebuttal blocks. 3. Learn specific progressive case styles and tactics such as, "word picks", "tricks", "t shells", and "kritiks". 4. Learn how to conduct a productive Cross Examination. 5. Learn how to properly attack and defend their specific arguments. 6. Participate in mock debates with other students. As a national debater, I find that Intensive camps are the best way to not only prepare debaters for the upcoming topics, but to also ensure that they are more prepared than their opponents, leading to more success.
Learning Goals
I can build an AFF and NEG case.
I can participate in drills and get good marks from my teacher.
