Description
Class Experience
Multiply larger numbers using a method not typically taught in the traditional classroom. Students will continue to learn and practice multiplying 4-6 digit numbers using the Lattice Multiplication method. This class is intended to extend and give students that have already learned the basic lattice multiplication method further practice. Students will review what a lattice diagram is. Students will also review the steps used to multiply larger number numbers using a lattice diagram....
Students will learn how to use a lattice diagram to multiply 4-6 digit numbers.
Students will be provided with blank lattice diagrams to save time drawing the diagrams.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
