Class experience

We meet Medus and Lydia again this semester as they journey by sea from Italy to Greece. We learned back in Chapter 16 that Lydia is a Christian, and in these later chapters, she and Medus continue their discussion of Christianity and Roman Paganism. Lydia directly quotes the Bible; because all Outschool classes are taught from a secular perspective, we will skip over these sections of those chapters. The remaining dialogue between the characters in our book gives us two different perspectives of religion in the Roman Empire. Any conversations that emerge from these readings will be discussed/taught from a strictly secular perspective in this course.
