Description
Class Experience
Each week students will receive a list of 5-10 Greek and Latin roots, definitions, examples, and base words. Before class, students will want to review the list of roots for the week. Students will meet live to work with the roots by practicing them, examining them in context, and seeing many examples. Students will participate in a live Kahoot to practice the roots. At the end of the week there will be a self-paced Nearpod quiz that focuses not just on rote memorization but also on...
Students will broaden their vocabulary by mastering an understanding of 100 common Greek and Latin roots.
Students should review the list of roots for each week before the live class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Weekly quiz
