Each week students will receive a list of 5-10 Greek and Latin roots, definitions, examples, and base words. Students will work with the roots by practicing them, examining them in context, and seeing many examples. Students will submit a Flipgrid of the words, the definitions, an example word, and an explanation of how the root helps them understand the example word. This class uses links to both Kahoot and Nearpod as part of the practice and quizzes. Neither site requires your student to have an account or log in. By using the links and access codes provided in each Lesson, your student will be taken directly to the class resource and will not have to search or go anywhere else on either site.
