Description
Class Experience
Students will enhance their world knowledge by reviewing basic facts about five Latin American countries that the Travel Girl character visits. Also, students will improve their drawing ability by using common shapes and lines to create a character.
I have traveled to more than 30 countries and lived in five countries, including Ecuador, Chile and Costa Rica. I have a BA in Sociology from UCLA in Los Angeles. I also have a Graduate Certificate in Gender Studies from USC in Los Angeles. With a combination of real life travel experiences and cultural studies in college, I am eager to share the beauty of our diverse world through drawing of my original character, Travel Girl .
1.) Color the picture drawn in class and upload to our classroom site. 2.) Complete the "Travel Girl's Diary" worksheet by writing about "a day in the life" of Travel Girl.
paper, pens or markers, color pencils, regular pencil, eraser. Note: Paper will be folded to provide guidelines for drawing.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
4 hours 10 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
