Class Experience
Learners will be introduced to basic Mendelian Genetics. We will cover dominant and recessive genes, Punnett squares and some special case inheritance types. The class will be a lecture based class with slides and lots of time for questions and interaction. I like to ask the students for input as we go and work lots of examples along the way. Students will learn basic Mendelian Genetics and how to work out simple genetics problems.
Paper, pencil and colored pencils (crayons or markers would also suffice)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
