In this engaging, one-week beginner course, learners will build a strong language foundation through interactive lessons, games, and real-world practice. Designed to boost confidence, this course helps learners speak, listen, and understand Spanish from day one—all while having fun! What We'll Learn: ✅ Spanish Greetings & Pronunciation – Master key phrases, the alphabet, and essential sounds ✅ Everyday Vocabulary & Expressions – Learn real-world phrases for communication ✅ Basic Grammar & Sentence Structure – Build simple sentences with confidence ✅ Ser vs. Estar – Understand how to describe people, places, and conditions correctly This class is perfect for beginners who want an engaging, interactive, and culturally rich introduction to Spanish. 📅 One Week | 4 Days of Classes 🌞 Summer Spanish Class Schedule & Topics 📅 June 16 – Spanish Basics & Everyday Greetings Learners will build confidence introducing themselves in Spanish! We’ll cover essential greetings, polite phrases, and basic conversation skills to help learners say hello, introduce themselves, and express how they feel in a natural way. 📅 June 23 – Learn Spanish Through Music & Movement Music makes learning Spanish fun! This week, we’ll use popular Spanish-language songs to introduce action words, emotions, and everyday expressions. Learners will sing, move, and build their listening and pronunciation skills through rhythm and repetition. 📅 June 30 – Food Fiesta: Talking About Food & Ordering in Spanish Food is one of the best ways to connect with language and culture! Learners will learn how to name common foods, express likes and dislikes, and practice ordering at a restaurant using real-world phrases. 📅 July 14 – Spanish for Travelers: Conversations & Navigation Planning a trip—or just want to learn useful Spanish for real life? This week, we’ll focus on essential travel phrases, including how to ask for directions, use transportation, and interact in common travel situations like hotels and restaurants. 📅 July 21 – Hobbies & Interests: Expressing What You Love in Spanish What do you love to do? This week, learners will learn to talk about their favorite hobbies, sports, and activities using fun, everyday expressions. We’ll practice conversational phrases to help learners share their interests in Spanish. 📅 July 28 – Spanish Storytelling & Roleplay Let’s bring Spanish to life through stories! This week, learners will explore basic storytelling skills, key vocabulary, and simple past-tense phrases to help them build and share their own mini stories in Spanish. 📅 August 4 – Festivals & Celebrations Around the Spanish-Speaking World From lively fiestas to unique traditions, learners will learn about exciting Spanish-speaking holidays and celebrations while expanding their vocabulary related to parties, traditions, and cultural events. 📅 August 18 – Spanish Game Day & Summer Review! We’ll wrap up the summer with a fun, interactive review of everything we’ve learned! Pre-Requisites
Everyone is welcome; no Spanish experience is necessary.
Supply List
Learners should always have something nearby to write on and write with. This may be a notebook, sticky notes, or a virtual replacement for these tools. We will not refer to past notes in class. Learners can choose to take notes about vocabulary, but it is not required.
