Master's Degree from Rolllins College
Hello!

I have been a teacher both in the classroom and online for about a decade now. I first began teaching grammar, reading, and humanities at a local community college when I was only 26. I started working with kids soon after, both one-on-one and in classroom settings. For the past three years, I've been teaching English exclusively online. I have a bachelor's degree in English as well as a master's degree in liberal studies, where I studied history, literature, and philosophy. I am also TESOL certified, and have spent several years teaching English as a second language. As a teacher with Outschool, I am hoping to teach English grammar, literature/book clubs, poetry, and history. I am a big believer that learning is a cooperative process, and I work with a student to help them grow and achieve their learning goals. I love to learn from my students as much as I hope they learn from me.

My hobbies include reading, cooking, seeing live theater, blogging, and learning French and Esperanto. Every year, I also volunteer to work at my local Fringe festival, a theater festival that brings performers in from all over the world.
