What will be taught:
Rules on singular and plural nouns
Writing activity in practice for writing sentences which will include singular and plural nouns. 
Students learn to write sentences using plural nouns and search for nouns in the sentences. 
Students learn how to change y to i and add the es to form a plural noun.
Students will have a review in correcting sentences with end marks and search for singular nouns in sentences. 
Students will have a second writing activity which include plural nouns and tell which plural nouns were used. 
Students will learn nouns that have special plural forms, like children, mice, deer, moose. 
Students will have a third writing activity using nouns with special plural forms in their writing and tell what special plural nouns they have used. 
How will the lesson be taught:
Nearpod will be used, slides, lectures, discussion, students will engage in writing to learn the singular and plural forms in their writings. 
Some knowledge of introduction to nouns and singular nouns and plural nouns using s and es rules help for the student.
Learning Goals
Students learn the rules, and practice writing sentences using singular/plural nouns in their writing. Using -ies and how to change -y to - i and add the -es rules.

Parental Guidance
Parental guidance is helpful in case of technical difficulty or help for logging on to the zoom. Students do not need any expensive toys, furnishings or other items. They do need well designed space that is safe for the student to do activities/projects. Parental guidance is necessary incase student needs help with an activity with guidance. Such as gluing, cutting with scissors etc. There are no third party websites that will be used for each week for the lessons or signing in for accounts.
