In this 30 minute, 2 days a week course, students will receive one-to-one assistance with Language Arts Skills such as Grammar, Reading, Writing, and Written Response.
Class experience
In this private one-to-one tutoring class, students will meet with the teacher to work on specific areas of Language Arts. Students/parents can voice specific needs and goals that together we can address and meet. If students have certain materials that they need assistance with for a class, the teacher must be provided with the materials at least 24 hours before our next class meeting. Students will improve their skills in specific areas of Language Arts determined by individual student needs.
I have a passion for reading, writing, and sharing my love of Language Arts with students. I am the homeschooling mother of a teenager. I have worked in public schools for 8 years assisting students in achieving academic goals in Language Arts. I am also certified to teach English to speakers of other languages.
Students will need writing material; pens, pencils, writing paper. Depending on the needs of individual students, there may be more supplies needed such as printables. These will be posted to the classroom before classes.
