Class Experience

US Grade 5 - 8
Each week, students will learn a different language arts skill or concept. I have chosen readings and topics appropriate to middle school language arts. The topics do not build on each other, and will be taught in isolation. If reading is required prior to class, I will post the reading in the classroom. Homework is not required. Students will practice writing during class, but will not write an entire essay. I will lead discussions about each reading based on the concept being taught. Students can join the class at any time, and I will update the schedule to reflect the topics. As the class continues, I will add to the list to reflect future readings, grammar practices, and writing skill sessions.
