Homework
1 hour per week. After each class, the teacher will assign students a short review activity. The teacher will assign students an end of class presentation.

Class Experience

US Grade 9 - 12
In this class, students will receive an introduction of 13 different topics linguists study when they look at language, language use, and the formation of words and sounds. Students will receive a notes page for each class prior to the class meet. The teacher will give students a short review activity to complete in between class meets. The class will review answers the next class. Students will even do field work of their own and present their findings to the class! Linguistics is an interesting topic and this class will give students new ways to think about language. I look forward to working with your future linguistics!

I also have an MA in Linguistics with an emphasis on Applied Linguistics. My fieldwork and dissertation focused on hedging and repetition in speech of all female groups.
