Class Experience

US Grade 1 - 3
In this two day science and art class, students will be introduced to several different types of landforms and bodies of water (for example: mountains, plateaus, plains, islands, peninsulas, rivers, oceans, lakes.) After examining and discussing the landforms/bodies of water each week, the students will play an exciting game of "Name that Landform/Body of Water." They will then complete the craft of the week.

Week 1: Play dough/Clay landforms
Students will create a 3D diorama of the landforms/bodies of water learned that day.

Week 2: Paper Collage
Students will use a paper ripping/cutting technique to create a colorful collage of the landforms/bodies of water learned that day.

No prior knowledge about landforms/bodies of water is required in order to participate in this class.

I am looking forward to teaching your children!
