Welcome Junior Paleontologists! In this one-time class, we will make dinosaur discoveries, defeat a dinosaur, learn about fossils, and create our own Play-Doh fossils & dinosaur. Feel free to show your favorite dinosaur toy!

Description
Class Experience
2 files available upon enrollment◘ several cartons of Play-Doh ◘ Small plastic dinosaur toy or something similar (for making fossils) ◘ small leaf (for making fossils) ◘ Child-safe knife (plastic or Play-Doh knife) ◘ Printed Worksheets (not required for a successful class but fun!) Coloring sheet is made available as a class extension or substitution.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please note that some learners may be allergic to traditional Play-Doh. There are many online recipes you can make as a substitute. Young learners may need some assistance during the Play-Doh creation portion of class. Parents are welcome to sit beside their learner as long as you're not visible on the computer screen. (Outschool safety policy) A plastic or Play-Doh knife is used to create some parts of our dinosaur.
