Description

Class Experience

Students will begin by being introduced and sharing something that they know about bugs. Next, the teacher will read the story "The Icky Bug Alphabet Book." As the teacher reads,the students will discuss the different bugs in the book. Where have you seen them? Which bug do you like the best/least? What new bug did you learn about?  After the story and discuss, students will color 5 icky bugs (provided in classroom materials) to remember the letters of the alphabet.  Students will share their...

Students will learn the letters of the alphabet and icky bugs that match those letters. They will also learn interesting facts about bugs.

I have over 13 years of experience teaching young learners. The alphabet is the foundation for reading. I love reading and I enjoy watching students become inspired by books.
