Introductory French class learning colors using the characters in the Miraculous Ladybug TV Show

Class experience

Students will be able to name the primary colors:  
blue, red, yellow
Students will be introduced to the names of  the following colors:
black, purple, pink, green, orange, silver, gold

Students will understand the questions, 
"What color is she?"
"What color is he?"
"What color is it?"

Students will be able to use the sentence frame,
"Hello, my name is ____."
"He is _____.'
"She is __________."
"It is ___________."



This  class has no contracted relationship with the creators of the Miraculous Ladybug 🐞 show. 
French is my second language and I practice it as often as possible, preferably in France.  I feel that the sooner children are exposed to the sounds of a second language the sooner they will be able to acquire it. Learning a second language is similar to a native language: repetition and fun. 
I have taught French as an elective class to 7th graders. 
It will be helpful for students to have several objects that are the colors we are learning. This helps the student to make a connection with what they are learning and their own life.
