Class experience
In this class children will learn the musical concepts like loud and soft sounds, short and long, fast and slow. They will explore their musical skills through dancing, singing, playing instruments and more. The class begins with a welcome song, followed by rhythm exploration, dancing and instrument playing while learning the theme of the day. Later they do more movement activities and listening skills. Towards the end, children will learn some basic music notation, and finally they all sing...
Children will learn to explore their musical skills while exploring the theme of the day.
Children are encouraged to bring any musical instruments they have at home such as tambourines, maracas, rhythm sticks, etc. If they don’t have instruments, they can still participate by being creative and use household items such as wooden spoons, pots and pans or other things that will allow them to practice rhythm and sounds. Also, since children will be moving a little while dancing, please make sure to be in a space where your child will be able to move freely and won’t hurt themselves in any way if they happen to bump into furniture or other things.
