Students will improve their understanding of the 6 "L" blends through sound, reading and writing.
I have been a first grade teacher for 14 years and absolutely love teaching students how to read and helping them to build a confidence in reading.
Go on a book hunt! As you are reading books at home, look for words that contain our "L" blends. Be ready to share some at the next class!
Some type of writing tool. Something erasable would be best (whiteboard, chalkboard) but paper and pencil will also work.
We will have a written assessment of all 6 "L" blends during the last course to see what you have learned!
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
