Oh, you're here! The story just started. This is how we start traditional stories in Korea! Do you want to join the Korean story? It's going to be so much...
This class is taught in English.
Students will learn the Korean characters Hangul, the Korean language, and Korean culture, while we're studying a fun Korean folk tale!
I'm a native Korean speaker, a professional Korean language tutor and instructor for 8 years, and have a bachelor's degree. I'm fluent in both Korean and English. I received perfect scores in all Korean language tests including the Korean SAT. I worked in my college press, as well as in thesis correction for my department at my university. I lived in Korea for 28 years and moved to the US for my Ph.D. I have experience teaching Korean language to both Korean native students and non-native students, for more than 8 years now!
Homework Offered
The teacher will provide practice materials for each class for the students to practice reading and writing the characters and words, and fun coloring sheets.Assessments Offered
Grades Offered
We're going to work on the fun Korean folk tales. However, since it's a folk tale, the stories can include a little bit of violence like any other folk tales in the world, like a wolf trying to eat three little piggies in western folk tales. We're not going to describe the violence verbally or visually, so don't need to worry about it :)
I am happy to schedule a convenient class time for you. Message me with your preferences! < I have a Korean language and culture group! Please check this if you're interested!...
