In this four week flex class course, students will be introduced to the basics of Korean! Students will learn common Korean phrases, how to introduce themselves, colors, animals, numbers, and the basics of the Korean alphabet (Hangul)! The class will be very fun and easy going, and will encourage a love of the language! 4 lessons//4 Weeks
Week 1Lesson 1To Be & HangulVideo teaching "to be" in Korean and supplemental activities. Students will also be introduced to Hangul, the Korean alphabet.Week 2Lesson 2Progressive TenseVideo teaching present progressive tense (-ING). I will post a game where we will practice ING tense to the classroom.Week 3Lesson 3Want ToVideo teaching the "Want to" verb ending. We will have a discussion in the classroom using Korean, and I will send a Kahoot game where students can practice using the want to form!Week 4Lesson 4Self Introductions and Present TenseVideo teaching self-introductions and present tense. I will also have an interactive quiz game over everything we have learned in this course.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
