US Grade Kindergarten - 3
Class Experience Kongs influence reaches beyond monster movies. Some may think King Kong just appeared in the theaters in the last 10 years, but is has been since 1933. He and his fellow monsters have been around for years. Besides Godzilla, he is one of the coolest monsters on TV Earth. He is misunderstood. In this one-time class, students will learn some of the basics from the monsters from Skull Island, as they are different, and some interesting fun facts. This class is a basic overview of the Skull Island Monsters, but does not go into advanced discussions that may be too much for the new learner. Therefore, this class is not necessarily geared towards learners with advanced knowledge of King Kong Some monsters that will be mentioned at some point in this class include: 1) Kong 2) Skull Crawlers 3) Mother Long Legs 4) Skull Island Tiger 5) Siren Jaw 6) Spore Mantis 7) Sker Buffalo 8) Mire Squid 9) Leaf Wings Learners will get a chance to ask questions and tell of their knowledge if any with the class. I teach to the least knowledgeable learner. Students will learn or improve their knowledge about the different skull Island monsters mentioned in the description, what makes them different?
Learning Goals
This class will be more of a lecture-style (yet interactive) class with a PowerPoint, photos, some video footage or photos . We will have conversations about these fictional monsters animals and students are encouraged to ask questions and discuss.
