In this class, the students will learn about koalas and what kind of animals they are. Many people think that koalas are bears. The students will learn what kind of animal they really are in class. The students will begin class by talking about what they know about koalas. Then the students will learn about where koalas live and find them on the map. The students will then learn what a marsupial is, what koalas eat, how they care for their babies, their predators, and many other interesting facts about koalas. The students will end class by reviewing what they have learned about koalas.

I am a certified early childhood, elementary education, and reading specialist. I have been a teacher for over seventeen years. I have taught English as a second language for over six years. I love to use my degrees in psychology, history, political science, and biology to help students learn. I teach reading, ESL, history, and science classes.
